  • Training Mode: Backtest your strategies with historical data to improve your trading accuracy.

How to Download

While we don’t provide support for Gannalyst, you can download the freeware from select third-party sites as the original website has expired. Our cloud platform offers free access to keep this invaluable tool available.

Using Bitcoin Data:

To display Bitcoin (BTCUSD) charts in Gannalyst, follow these steps:

Downloading Bitcoin (BTCUSD) data from MetaTrader software history center

Step 1: Download CSV File

  • Obtain the Bitcoin .csv file from the Forex Metatrader 4 Platform by opening a demo account.
  • After installing MetaTrader, log in with your details. In the market watch section, select Bitcoin (BTC/USD) from the symbol list.

Step 2: Setup MetaTrader

  • Go to the “Tools” option in the menu bar and select “History Center.”
  • In the History Center, choose BTCUSD from the instrument list, select the desired time frame, and click the download button.

Step 3: Export Data

  • After the download is completed, review the historical data.
  • Click “Export” to save this data as a .csv file. If saving permission is restricted, save the file on your desktop and then copy it to the intended location.
  • Path is > This PC > Local Disk(C:) > Program Files(x86) > Gannalyst Professiona 50 > SampleData

Step 4: Configuring CSV Data

Ensure your CSV file is properly formatted for Gannalyst. The date format in MetaTrader (e.g., “2018.01.11”) may need to be adjusted to Gannalyst’s format (e.g., “2018/01/11”) using Excel. Save the properly formatted file as a .csv.

Final Thoughts:

Gannalyst requires manual data collection and import, which can be time-consuming. It lacks automated updates, and using live feeds involves additional costs. However, its robust W.D. Gann features make it a valuable tool for long-term traders, with accuracy best verified through real-world market conditions.
